How do Coin and Bullion Auctions Work on eBay with Accurate Precious Metals?
Most of our coin auctions last for 20 seconds. We'll show you an item, and the timer will start. If somebody new bids on the item, then the timer extends by a bit, so you don't get your item stolen at the last second. This short timer means that you can get some really amazing deals if others aren't paying attention!
We typically "buck and go" our coins, which means the bidding starts at $1.
Sometimes we'll run a "sudden death" auction, which means that the timer doesn't extend with every new bid. This format often leads to great prices and last-minute chaos when there are some rare and coveted items for sale.
When do we Run Auctions on eBay?
We typically run our livestreams on Monday from 11am to 3pm and Friday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, Pacific Standard Time. If you are interested in seeing our scheduled streams, you can check them out here and bookmark them tog et a reminder when they start!
What do we Sell on our eBay Auctions?
On our Monday shows, we tend to focus on Morgan Dollars and Peace dollars. We have a variety of years, mints, and conditions. Sometimes we auction off graded Morgans, and sometimes we even sell Carson City Morgans. With our $1 starts, it's not uncommon to see these highly coveted coins sell for well below melt.
On Fridays, we tend to focus more on fractional items. Lots of old coins, 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/2 oz silver. We also do lots of silver eagles.
Even though we have our focuses, we sell lots of unique items in every show depending on what we have in stock. We've sold lots of bullion items, including 1oz silver bars and even gold. We've sold 1g of gold for well under $100, and even 1/2g gold for around $75. We also sell older US currency, like braided hair large cents, seated liberty quarters, and even old paper currency and silver certificates.
