What is 14k gold worth per gram?

14k is 58.3% pure. Take the weight in grams, multiply by 0.583, then by the spot price per gram. With gold near $3,995.84 an ounce, that is about $128.47 per gram of pure gold and roughly $74.94 per gram of 14k. We pay based on that market value once we weigh and test your piece.

Can a bank buy my gold?

Almost never. Banks do not test, refine or buy back gold from the public. Some sell bullion coins, but that is a one way street. A refinery like ours is set up for exactly this: we test, weigh and pay on live market value, in store or by mail.

How do I pick a gold buyer?

Look for a licensed dealer with a real address, one that refines rather than reselling your gold to someone who does. They should publish their payout rate, charge nothing to evaluate or ship, and have reviews you can verify.
