How Do I buy from APMR?
You can buy from Accurate Precious Metals three ways: in person at our Salem, Oregon facility, online through our shop, or by opening a free account and ordering remotely with delivery by insured mail. Whichever route you choose, you pay against the same live market pricing.
Buying in person in Salem
Our facility is at 1855 Hawthorne Ave NE, Salem, Oregon 97301, right off Interstate 5. Walk in, talk with the staff, and look at the bullion and jewelry in stock. You can ask questions about specific products, compare coins and bars side by side, and take your purchase home the same day. It is also the simplest option if you want to sell metal you already own during the same visit, since we buy and sell at the same location.
Buying online
Browse the shop for gold and silver bullion, including American Gold Eagles and Buffalos, Canadian Maple Leafs, Krugerrands, gold bars, American Silver Eagles, silver rounds and bars, and coins from private mints. Prices track the live spot market, so what you see reflects current conditions; spot gold is currently around $4,119.08 per troy ounce and spot silver around $60.07. Orders ship insured in discreet, protective packaging with no hint of the contents. Items listed at "internet pricing" are special orders placed through the mint rather than immediate delivery, and can take up to 26 days to arrive.
Buying remotely with an account
If you are outside Salem or simply cannot make it in, call or message our team through the contact page to open an account. Opening an account is free. Staff will explain how buying and selling by mail works, help you choose products, and set up payment and shipping. Collectors, dealers, banks, brokerage houses and individual investors are all welcome, and large and small orders are handled the same way.
Payment options. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, cashier's check, personal check and wire transfer. A 4% discount applies when you pay by cash, personal check, cashier's check or wire transfer instead of a credit or debit card, which on a bullion purchase is a meaningful saving. Personal checks are held until they clear, then the item is released. Cashier's checks are verified with the issuing bank, which is quick.
Before you order. All sales are final. If you later decide to sell metal back to us, we pay the current market price for it at that time. Transit is covered under our Shipping Policy and Terms and Conditions; once a package has been delivered, we are no longer responsible for it, so ship to an address where someone can receive it. If you are new to bullion, the bullion buyers guide is a good place to start before you decide between coins, bars and rounds.
